It has been brought to light some possible conflicts of interest of various members of the KENT SCHOOL DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD in regards to school safety and Board Policies & Procedures 1111 Oath of Office and Board Policies & Procedures 1002 Code of Ethics and Standards:

Standard 1. Values and Ethical Behavior
To be effective, an individual school director:
a. Places students’ needs first.
b. Demonstrates commitment to equity and high standards of achievement for each student.
c. Commits to treating each individual with dignity and respect.
d. Models high ethical standards.
e. Advocates for public education.

Enclosed is NOTICE OF INFRACTION allegedly issued to BOARD MEMBER MEGHIN MARGEL for failure to stop before reaching or overtaking a school bus on a highway while the visual signals were in operation, RCW 46.61.370

and

NOTICES OF INFRACTION (2) allegedly issued to BOARD MEMBER AWALE FARAH for SPEEDING IN A SCHOOL ZONE, RCW 46.61.440 two times in a single day.

These INFRACTIONS were issued in towns other than KENT.

I request copies of all NOTICES OF INFRACTION or TICKET/VIOLATION NOTICES such as these issued to any KENT SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER or KENT SCHOOL DISTRICT STAFF for the last 5 years and signed copies of each KENT SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER Oath of Office.
