Hello Tawny,

Thank you for your response. Given that the display was wrecked yesterday, I would like to request the following:

- Any communications, memos, emails, or letters regarding the display, as well as attachments
- Any incident reports about the display

I have filed separate requests with the governor's office and DAS, but I suspect state police also have some records about protecting the display. Thank you

From: Iowa Department of Public Safety

Good afternoon,

We have received your request. It is estimated this search will take approximately 5-6 hours to perform. This includes time for email proofing and possible redactions. When we start looking at those resources, we provide a cost estimate to be sure you want to proceed. At the current hourly rate of $51.45, the cost would be approximately $257.25 to $308.70.

Respectfully,

Can you please provide separate fee assessments for:

- Any incident reports about the display (Search Dec 10 - when processed only)

- Any communications, memos, emails, or letters regarding the display, as well as attachments, from December 10 through time processed only.

?

I am happy to pay a fee but five hours to search what should be relatively limited number of documents feels extensive, so am seeing if there's a way to further narrow or limit.
