Pursuant to North Carolina Public Records Law (G.S. ยงยง 132-1 through 132-10), I hereby request the following documents:
For this request I am seeking:
-All policies on checkpoints and roadblocks. This includes sobriety checkpoints as well as any other kinds of checkpoints.
-Data on how often checkpoints are employed. That is, the total number of times the department has set up a checkpoint since 1/1/14.
-Any oversight reports on the use of checkpoints.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.

Good morning,
I have am in receipt of your public records request regarding check points. I have the policies and am looking to see what other records we may have responsive to your request. There may be documents for DWI check points as these are coordinated with other agencies/entities, however, I do not believe there are any records compiled on licenses check points.
