Pursuant to the Pennsylvania Right to Know Act, I hereby request the following records:
I'm seeking On October 19, 2019, it was reported that students obtained access to a database containing information about Downingtown Area School District students: https://www.dailylocal.com/news/local/downingtown-area-school-district-uncovers-data-breach/article_92f154da-f1a6-11e9-bd3c-ff5de7cc2f31.html
I'm seeking a copy of the district's full contract with Naviance, the vendor associated with the database that was breached.
I am a member of the news media making this request in the interest of newsgathering for the podcast Underunderstood. I'm willing to pay up to $100 in fees.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

You have the following appeal rights, if you deem this a denial of your request. You may file an appeal in writing with the Office of Open Records, Eric Arneson, Executive Director, Office of Open Records, Commonwealth Keystone Building, 400 North Street, 4th Floor, Harrisburg, PA 17120 as designated under Section 503 of the Act within 15 days of the mailing date of this response or within 15 business days of the deemed denial. The appeal shall state the grounds upon which you assert that the record is a public record and shall address any grounds stated by this agency for delaying or denying the request. You may then have further appeal rights under the Act depending upon the decision of the Office of Open Records.
