Hi Johanna, and thank you for this request. Unfortunately after searching our records, we identified no responsive agreements between the City and County of Denver and BriefCam. Any procedures or use manuals would be in the custody of the operating agency, and any procurement documents would be in the custody of the Department of General Services (generalservices@denvergov.org<mailto:generalservices@denvergov.org>) However, due to the lack of agreement on file it is unlikely the other agencies would have any responsive records under the criteria. If you would like us to refine the search in any way, such as through a different vendor, please let us know.

Sincerely,

Thank you so much for the prompt response. We did a little more research and it appears that Denver Police (and potentially other agencies) access BriefCam via the Regional Transit District's contract with a company called NICE Systems and its product Nicevision. Would it be possible for you to search for agreements with NICE, NICE Systems, Nicevision, or with RTD for video analytics?

No problem, and happy to help. The city had a contract with Nice Systems from 2007 to 2009, but nothing more recent than that.

RTD holds all of its own contracts as a separate government body, so we would not have access to any of their agreements, however we did locate the agreement between Denver and RTD that enables video sharing (attached). We hope this helps.

Sincerely,
