On October 11th, it was reported that SoundThinking and the Columbus Police Department were planning on testing ShotSpotter at the Cooper Stadium site: https://www.nbc4i.com/news/local-news/columbus/columbus-police-to-test-shotspotter-system-at-cooper-stadium-site/
Pursuant to the Ohio Open Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
- Documents sufficient to show the plans agreed upon plan for testing the ShotSpotter system, including any maps, safety measures, and agreements related to the testing.
- Documents sufficient to show all data that was collected from this testing.
- A copy of all communications between Columbus Police Department personnel and SoundThinking staff regarding this testing.
- A copy of all communications between Columbus Police Department personnel and any other public employee regarding this testing.
- A copy of all memos or other communications internal to the Columbus Police Department related to this testing.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
