Maryland Freedom of Information Act Request: Student Privacy Documents (Baltimore County Public Schools)

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Maryland Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

- A copy of any data release consent forms parents or students are asked to sign
- Any current policy documents or guidelines governing student data access and/or usage
- Any amendments made to those policy documents or guidelines governing student data access and/or usage from 2015-2023
- Documents outlining any school officials, third-party vendors, programs or applications with the ability to access, monitor, store, and/or transmit student data or metadata
- All audits performed on behalf of BCPS to ensure compliance of any school officials, third-party vendors, programs or applications with the ability to access, monitor, store, and/or transmit student data or metadata

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
