Pursuant to the Maryland Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

All information related to the types of insurance coverage held by the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) since 2010, including any changes in coverage during that period. Specifically,
1. Insurance Types: Please provide details of the various types of insurance policies the Baltimore Police Department has held since January 1, 2010. This should include, but not be limited to, liability insurance, property insurance, professional indemnity insurance, and any other relevant policies.

2. Policy Details: For each insurance type mentioned above, kindly provide the following information:
a. Policy start and end dates for each coverage period.
b. Coverage limits and deductibles for each policy, if available.
c. Names and contact information of insurance providers for each policy term.

3. Changes in Coverage: Please disclose any changes or modifications made to the insurance coverage held by the Baltimore Police Department from 2010 to the current date. This should include any updates in coverage limits, changes in insurance providers, or alterations to policy terms.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

This is an acknowledgement of your request below, for public information, submitted to the Document Compliance Unit (“DCU”) of the Baltimore Police Department (“BPD”).
