To Whom It May Concern:

I wanted to follow up on the following Freedom of Information request, copied below, and originally submitted on June 21, 2015. Please let me know when I can expect to receive a response, or if further clarification is needed.

Thank you for your help.

From: DCU

Dear Mr. Raz

You had made a request for public records pursuant to the Maryland Public Information Act (MPIA), which is the General Provisions Article, § 4-101, et seq., of the Annotated Code of Maryland. You have requested Baltimore Police department overtime during the dates of April 28th-May 3rd, 2015.

As of your June 22nd e-mail the Baltimore Police Department’s Finance Section, had not created or completed the creation of records for the overtime spent for the State of Emergency time frame. I sent a followed up inquiry to the BPD’s Director of Finance to see if a review of the Department’s overtime expenditures has been undertaken for the Baltimore Police Department’s internal use.

As stated there were no responsive records as of the date of the request. This agency does not make automatic releases of records as they are created. Requests are not properly made for "future" records not yet created. Neither I, nor do the attorneys in the Office of Legal Affairs normally receive updates on the completion of internal document. If the records have been created as of this date, I will respond with the records or costs if appropriate. If no responsive records exist, I will advise you if records may be created at a later date. You may then resubmit your request.

Thank You
