Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
The current passenger train emergency preparedness plan (aka "E-plan") submitted to and approved by the FRA in accordance with 49 CFR 239 for the MetroRail system. Please include all attachments, appendices, etc.
The requested documents will be made immediately and freely available to the general public on muckrock.com, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. If you anticipate charges will exceed $40, I request a written statement of estimated charges.
I request that the requested records be fulfilled by email attachment.

One additional thing, if you do submit this record to the SSI Program Office for SSI Review, I would request if possible that I get a copy of any response letter from that office, or if not that at a minimum you provide me with TSA's official SSI review number.
My understanding is I need the review number at a minimum if I wish to appeal the TSA's SSI determination through that agency's processes. I am willing to submit a new public records request to your agency for this information if need be, but it will probably expedite things for everyone if this information can be provided directly.

Our office is also in receipt of the AG's Opinion. We are in the process of evaluating it and taking the next steps to file our SSI with the TSA in order for them to make the appropriate determinations. When we do file with the TSA, we will CC you, so there is no need to file an additional Public Information Request. Also, I am the new Public Information Coordinator with Capital Metro, so if you have any additional questions please feel free to contact me.

Following up on this request. Last time I heard from your agency on this was when the records in question were submitted to the TSA for SSI review on March 5th. Given the, uh, circumstances that occurred thereafter, I presume processing may have been delayed. Just wanted to touch base and see if there has been any word from the TSA yet.

As far as I am aware, we have not received any communication from TSA regarding your request. We are mostly working remotely, but I will be going into the office today and I will double check to see if we have received anything. I've never had to interact with the TSA before, so I am not sure how long their process takes. If I don't find anything in the office, I will reach out to them and ask for an update.
