Pursuant to the Colorado Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
- Emails between The Aurora Police Department and Immigration and Customs Enforcement, GEO Group Inc., and DHS. These may include but are not limited to the ICE Law Enforcement Support Center, the Aurora GEO Group Contract Detention Facility and the 287(g) program.
- Copies of any Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs), Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), or other liaison, information sharing or prisoner/detainee transfer agreements with or involving ICE.
- Emails between the Sheriff or Aurora PD seeking approval to join the 287(g) program.
- Policy records: any policy directives, guidance documents, memoranda, training materials, or similar records governing undocumented immigrants or those suspected of being undocumented.
- Memoranda of understanding between Aurora PD and ICE to share data, access remote systems or other forms of information sharing.
- Any final reports created to DHS or ICE.
Please limit your search from 2003 to the present. This request is being made by a journalist for the purpose of informing the public.
As my primary purpose is to inform about government activities by reporting on it and making the raw data available, I request that fees be waived.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for your response. I would like to receive the 4 "287(g)" emails. But because the volume of the other key phrases is so large, I would ask that you amend your search from Jan. 2019 to the present and that you don't include "DHS" in the new search.
I did not see any acknowledgement of the other parts of my request. Listed here:
- Memoranda of understanding between Aurora PD and ICE to share data, access remote systems or other forms of information sharing.
- Any final reports created to DHS or ICE.
- Copies of any Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs), Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), or other liaison, information sharing or prisoner/detainee transfer agreements with or involving ICE.
