Good afternoon,

Attached here is the formal response to the open records request which was delivered to the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office this afternoon. As explained in the response, the Sheriff's Office does not operate the jail and I am copying the Allegheny County Records office along with a copy of your request as a courtesy.

Please be advised that the first request was not delivered to the Sheriff's Office. The Allegheny County Sheriff's Office does not occupy 564 Forbes Avenue, the address listed in your request and it appears that in the second request mailed, a USPS worker noted that the named addressee was the Sheriff's Office and delivered the correspondence today.

Requests can be readily emailed. Should you have need to contact the Office in the future, open records information is listed on the Allegheny County Sheriff's website, the link is: https://www.sheriffalleghenycounty.com/rtk.html
