Pursuant to the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

According to recent media reports, the Sawmill Fire in Arizona is said to have been sparked by a gender-reveal party that involved the use of explosives on federal land. Therefore, I am requesting the following records related to the evacuation of displaced persons from the Walmart parking lot on 2044 Forest Ave in Chico, CA:
- Any e-mails, text messages, or electronic communications between April 23, 2017 and November 27, 2018 that mention the Sawmill Fire.
- Any e-mails, text messages, or electronic communications between April 23, 2017 and November 27, 2018 that mention off-duty Border Patrol agent Dennis Dickey, and a gender reveal party involving Tannerite in the Green Valley, Arizona area.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. It will be used in the course of reporting for Motherboard, VICE’s science and technology website (www.motherboard.vice.com).
