A no responsive documents response.

Dear Matthew Gallagher,
I am writing to appeal the response to my FOIL request, Case #415-2023, dated 12/22/2023. My original request sought the complete bodycam footage of the police chase that occurred on December 21, 2023, around 4:00 PM involving a pickup truck on Tuckahoe Rd.
In the response, it was stated that there are no documents with the requested information. However, I refer to a public post made by the Yonkers Police Department on Neighbors regarding the arrest of two suspects and the seizure of $1.6 million in cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl. This post specifically mentions a police chase on Tuckahoe Rd.
I believe that the bodycam footage is a crucial element for public accountability and transparency, especially in light of the significant events mentioned in the public post. Therefore, I kindly request a thorough review of my FOIL request and a reconsideration of the denial, with a focus on obtaining the complete bodycam footage related to the specified incident.
If there are any fees associated with this appeal process, please inform me in advance. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a prompt and favorable resolution.
Sincerely,
Jose Moran
