1) Copies of all contracts, current or lapsed, between the Washington County Sheriff's Office and Amazon for the use of Amazon' Rekognition facial recognition tools.
2) Copies of any emails between Washington County Sheriff's Office employees and Amazon, including attachments, between June 7, 2020 and the date this request is processed. To aid with your search, I would like to clarify that I am specifically seeking any communications related to Amazon's announcement of a one-year moratorium on police use of its facial recognition tools. I ask that all fees be waived as I am a journalist (examples of my work can be found at toddfeathers.com) and I intend to use the requested records to publish articles in the public interest and not for any commercial purpose.
