Pursuant to RCW Ch. 42.56 (Public Records Act), I hereby request the following records:
Any and all training materials regarding hate crimes or bias crimes used to educate or train would-be police officers who attend the Basic Law Enforcement Training Course at the Law Enforcement Academy. My request covers any written, visual, or digital materials used for this instruction.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

I am finalizing the records responsive to your request. A few records provided are tests and or answer keys, which are exempt as per RCW 42.56.250(1). Are you willing to exclude tests questions, scoring keys, and other examination data used to administer a license, employment, or academic examination?
