Pursuant to the Washington Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
- Any and all written or electronic communications, including attachments, between your department and members of USA Pickleball, (@usapickleball.org). This request seeks documents created between January 1, 2020 and the date this request is processed.
- Any emailed or formal complaints containing the word "pickleball." Please search between January 1 and the time this request is processed.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Good morning Jason,
I have been working on your request and just wanted to ask for some clarification regarding the second part of your request where you state:
“Any emailed or formal complaints containing the word "pickleball." Please search between January 1 and the time this request is processed.”
I want to make sure if you are asking for just records from January 1, 2023 till the date your request came in (July 25th, 2023) , or if you are seeking from January 1st, 2020 as stated in the 1st part of your request?
I have done a search from 2020 and it seems that there is a substantial amount of emails that will take quite some time to review and provide for this request so I just want to make sure that we process this request correctly.
