Pursuant to the Washington Public Records Act I request the following records:

All records, documents, and internal communications pertaining to firearm use and lead management at the site known publicly as the "North Fork Gravel Pit" in Deming, Washington located at 48.8957, -122.1099 on parcel number 3905013022330000. This includes any and all communications and records regarding the use of the gravel pit as a shooting range and any management actions, considerations, or planning done by the Department of Natural Resources in response to that type of land use. Please also include work requests, tickets, and other relevant documentation of where and how materials excavated from the pit have been used for the last five years.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. In the event that there are fees please inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request be filled electronically using a cloud storage service or via email attachment if possible.

The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) received your public disclosure request on December 5, 2022. All identifiable records responsive to your request will be provided to you pursuant to Chapter 42.56 RCW.
You requested:

After reviewing your request, we will need further clarification. In hopes to more efficiently get you the records you are seeking, please clarify the following:
* Date range.

* Did you want the last 5 years, December 5, 2017 - December 5, 2022, of records just for the "work requests, tickets, and other relevant documentation of where and how materials excavated from the pit"? If so, we will need a date range for the first portion of your request; or
* Did you want the last 5 years, December 5, 2017 - December 5, 2022, of records for your whole request?
Once we receive clarification and the request has been narrowed down, we can begin researching your request.

Please be advised that, pursuant to RCW 42.56.120, DNR uses the default fee schedule. If DNR uses an outside vendor for the duplication service, the charge to you will be the cost charged by the vendor, plus the cost of shipping.

We estimate that your first installment of records will be available on or about January 19, 2023. If responsive records becomes available sooner, we will certainly forward it to you.
