Good afternoon: The records you requested are attached.
One VSO deputy attended "The Street Smart Cop/Pro-Active Patrol Tactics" in July 2021 in Jacksonville, FL.
One VSO deputy attended "Florida Case Law That All Cops Need to Know" in January 2022 in Tavares, FL.
Five VSO deputies attended "Unmasking Facial Expressions" and "Body Language for Law Enforcement" at our Training facility in Daytona Beach in January 2023.
At that time in January 2023, our training personnel were evaluating the course content to determine whether it could be a useful component of our program. This was prior to learning of the details that have been reported by the New Jersey Comptroller's Office and others. VSO has not hosted or attended any "Street Cop Training" events since the January 2023 event.
