Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:

All emails which include Todd Kubish as either the sender, recipient, CCed, or BCCed from January 1, 2021 to November 10, 2023 and at least one of the following keywords: "Fusus", "ShotSpotter", "Shot Spotter", "Axon" and/or "ALPR." Please include any variations that are not case sensitive. Please include all email attachments.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Good Afternoon,
The Village is in receipt of your Freedom of Information Act request for the following records "emails which include Todd Kubish as either the sender, recipient, CCed, or BCCed from January 1, 2021 to November 10, 2023 and at least one of the following keywords: "fusus, shotspotter, shot spotter, Axon, and.or ALPR."
The Village has conducted an initial search of its records and determined that it is in need of additional time in order to respond to your request.  The Village requires 5 additional business days per 5 ILCS 140/3(e)(vi) as the request for records cannot be complied with by the public body within the time limits prescribed without unduly burdening or interfering with the operations of the public body and 5ILCS 140/3(e)(iii) the request is couched in categorical terms and requires an extensive search for the records responsive to it. The Village will provide a response to your request by Wednesday, November 29, 2023 (the Village is closed on November 23 & 24). Per 5ILCS 140/9.5(b), you have the right to seek a review of this response by the Public Access Counselor (PAC) in the Office of the Attorney General.  The PAC may be reached by phone at (877) 299-3642, by email to publicaccess@atg.state.il.us , or by postal mail at the Public Access Bureau, 500 S. 2 nd Street, Springfield, IL 62706.  You also have the right to seek judicial review under section 11 of the above listed Act.
