To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Vermont Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

A list of all constables (town constables, first constables, etc.) with a certification from the VCJTC to act as a law enforcement officer. Please include what type of certification they hold (LI, LII, LIII, etc), the date that the certification was granted, and the date that the certification is set to expire, if applicable.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Brian Waters

Good afternoon Brian,

Attached is a spreadsheet of constables that have law enforcement powers. I cannot give you expiration dates as I do not have any dates from those towns. Their law enforcement certifications do not expire as long as they continue to keep up with the annual training requirements and are employed by an agency.

Hope this list helps.
