Subject: Vermont Attorney General's Office

Dear Mr. Peterson: I have looked into your request for a log of public records requests submitted to our Office that lists the date of request, the requester's name, the requester's organizational affiliation, a description of the request and the date the request was filled. Such a specific document does not exist under the description you have inquired of with respect to public records requests to the Vermont Attorney General’s Office. We do have an aggregate log of requests for public documents that have been made to some Vermont state agencies, including our Office. That log has not been broken down or maintained into separate agency categories, and we respectfully decline to create such a record under 1 V.S.A. s 316(i). However, if you would like to inspect that aggregate record, please contact me at the address below to arrange a time for you come to our Office during normal business hours to do so. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me as well. Michael O. Duane, AAG
