Hi Ms. Street,

My name is Anna Merlan, I'm a senior reporter at Vice News but filed this request using a service called MuckRock, which is why I didn't immediately see your mailed response.

Can you please clarify what you're telling me? Are you saying that you have the records in your possession but they are subject to an exemption from the statute, or are you saying that you do not have the records in your possession?

Best,
Anna

Hello Ms. Merlan,

I am not sure if your message is misdirected, there isn't a Ms. Street employed by the Attorney General's Office. Our response to you was also sent via email rather than U.S. Mail.

In any event, pertaining to your 20-145 request, any records we do have are subject to a protected classification and cannot be released publicly until the investigation is complete.

Sincerely,

GRAMA Coordinator

Thanks very much! It appears MuckRock mistakenly fused two requests -- I was indeed not responding to you. Thanks very much - I will follow up in a few weeks and see if the investigation is ongoing and the records are still unavailable.

Best,
Anna
