Dear Roger Andoh,

I am writing to follow up on my Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request dated August 30, 2023, concerning the V-safe program. My request was assigned the number 23-01724-FOIA and placed in your complex processing queue.

I hereby request expedited processing of my FOIA request in accordance with the U.S. Department of Justice's guidelines for the following reasons:

Imminent Threat to Life or Physical Safety: The V-safe program is directly related to the monitoring of adverse events following COVID-19 vaccination. Given the ongoing pandemic and the critical nature of vaccine safety, timely access to this information could be life-saving for individuals considering vaccination.

Urgency to Inform the Public: The V-safe program involves actual federal government activity that is of urgent concern to the public. The sooner this information is released, the sooner the public can make informed decisions about their health.

Widespread and Exceptional Media Interest: The COVID-19 pandemic and vaccination efforts are subjects of exceptional media interest. The integrity of the V-safe program and how it has been managed could significantly affect public confidence in the government's handling of the pandemic.

Given these compelling reasons, I also request a rolling release of records as they become available. This would serve the public interest by providing critical information as quickly as possible.
