USAO notice letters re: Imaging Universe

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

- Any notice letters sent to defense attorneys since 2016 regarding the USAO potentially receiving defense discovery materials from Imaging Universe or Xpedia, which were contracted to copy discovery materials for the government.
- Any final report or memo regarding the findings of an investigation into Imaging Universe's practices.

For background information, in the 2016 case U.S. v Schapiro, the U.S. Attorney's Office acknowledged that Imaging Universe had duplicated CDs of discovery materials obtained by Schapiro's defense team and provided them to the FBI: https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/broward/article81789507.html

The USAO subsequently sent out notice letters to attorneys in other cases that may have been impacted by Imaging Universe's practice. I am requesting any such letters, as well as the findings of that investigation.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
