To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

In may 1945 the 3rd US ARMY took the Austrian City of Linz. In the outskirts of the city 2 large underground tunnel complexes were found. One labelled BERGKRISTAL and one KELLERBAU. both constructed and under command of SS General Dr. Ing. Hans Kammler (at times misspelled in the archive files) . Immediately upon liberation of these, all machinery, production and research in these were labelled, cataloged and photographed. And the tunnels were surveyed and photographed also. Reports were made containing all this information and photographs. I request these reports with all attachments. Some have been done my CIC and some by the Army Engineers possibly ALSOS team members. All reports were initially classified.

Machinery and technology were removed prior to the handover to the Russian Army, I also request a report of what was taken by the US ARMY.

Furthermore all interrogations and reports with respect to these two underground systems I request.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Tino Von Struckmann
