Dear FOIA Officer,

I am writing to request the release of documents pertaining to my client, Ramiro Torres, under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act (5 U.S.C. § 552).

I am requesting the immigration records for Mr. Ramiro Torres in order to obtain a comprehensive understanding of his previous encounters with immigration authorities. Specifically, I would like to obtain any and all records related to his entry and detention in the United States. It is important for us to review these records as part of the preparation for any future immigration processes that Mr. Torres may undergo.

To assist in locating the relevant documents, I provide the following details:

Records of Entry: Please provide any records related to Mr. Ramiro Torres's entry into the United States on two occasions. The dates and locations of these entries are unknown to us, but we believe they occurred prior to [current year]. These records may include but are not limited to border patrol apprehension reports, I-213 forms, and any associated biometric data collected during these encounters.
Detention Records: Kindly provide any documents related to Mr. Torres's detention or incarceration resulting from his illegal entry into the United States. This may include any notices to appear (NTA), custody determinations, or detention facility records that pertain to Mr. Torres.
Biometric Data: We request access to any biometric records associated with Mr. Ramiro Torres, including fingerprints, photographs, or other identification information collected by the Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM) during his encounters with immigration authorities.
Removal Proceedings: If any removal proceedings were initiated against Mr. Torres as a result of his previous unauthorized entries, we kindly request all relevant records pertaining to these proceedings. This may include but is not limited to hearing transcripts, immigration judge decisions, and any notices of deportation or voluntary departure.
Please consider this letter as a formal request for these documents, and if there are any potential exemptions that may apply to certain documents, I kindly request a detailed explanation of the basis for any redactions or withheld information.

To whom it may concern,

I hope you find yourself well. Below you can find attached the letter from Ramiro Torres that was requested giving authorization of release of said records. My client does not have his fingerprints record nor has he been taken fingerprints, and he was unable to provide me with an alien number as he has never had one. If the letter can suffice what is needed as well as the information I provided in the original request, please let me know. If there is something else that I need to do also please let me know.
