From: Alexander Rony

I am appealing the final response to my Freedom of Information Act request (#HQ-2018-00154-F). Given the size of the Department of Energy, it is implausible that the Department had only two unfilled positions at the time. Therefore, I believe the search for records was inadequate and should encompass additional records and documents.

Thanks for your attention to this matter,
Alexander Rony

Hello, I am following up about FOIA Request HQ-2017-00825-F (and related Appeal FIA-18-0007). On February 1, 2018, I received a letter noting that additional documents were discovered, and that I will be receiving those after review. Could I get an update about this FOIA request?

Thank you,
Alexander Rony

From:

Mr. Rony,

Per the February 1, 2018, letter issued by the Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA), FIA-18-0007 has been dismissed. As such, OHA no longer has jurisdiction on this matter, and I do not have access to any information related to your pending FOIA request. You have, however, copied (cc'd) the appropriate individuals, and they should be able provide you with an update.

I hope this information is helpful.
Best,
