Good morning, I am in receipt of your e-mail requesting the status of your request.  Please note that your request was assigned to several offices and some of the offices continue to conduct a search for records.  We are currently reviewing and processing some of the records which may be responsive to your request. Treasury Departmental Offices processes FOIA requests ina multi-track system, which identifies a request as simple or complex, andgenerally processes each request on a first-in, first-out basis. Your requestis considered complex.During the last fiscal year, complex requests were processed on average within 347 business days. Based upon this, I estimatethat we will be able to complete your request by November 26, 2020. The amount of time that will be required toprocess requests varies greatly and depends on a number of factors includinghow many offices or custodians will need to be searched, whether the recordsyou have requested are easily accessible, whether the records are electronic orhard copies, the volume of records located, the classification level of therecords, and whether or not consultations with other Federal agencies arerequired. Thank you!
