From: FOIPARequest

Dear Mr. Wilkerson,

The FBI has received your Freedom of Information Act/Privacy (FOIPA) request. If you are seeking records on yourself, you will be required to verify your identity. This verification is required in order to protect your privacy and to ensure that private information about you is not disclosed inappropriately to someone else. Whenever you request information about yourself you will be asked to provide either a notarized statement or a statement with either your name or signature under penalty of perjury stating that you are the person who you say you are. You may fulfill this requirement by completing and signing the U. S. Department of Justice (Certification of Identity) FORM DOJ-361<https://www.fbi.gov/file-repository/u-s-department-of-justice-form-361-certification-of-identity.pdf/view>. Alternatively, you may provide your full name, current address, and date and place of birth and either (1) have your signature on your request letter witnessed by a notary, or (2) include the following statement immediately above your name or signature on your request letter: "I declare (or certify, verify, or state) under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct. Executed on [date]." Simply stating, "I declare under penalty of perjury" is not a valid abbreviated penalty of perjury statement according to 28 U.S.C. § 1746. If you request information about yourself and do not follow one of these procedures, your request cannot be processed.

The FORM DOJ-361<https://www.fbi.gov/file-repository/u-s-department-of-justice-form-361-certification-of-identity.pdf/view> is available at https://www.fbi.gov/services/records-management/foia (Freedom of Information Act/Privacy) page, under Records Available by Request and by clicking on U. Greetings. Thanks so much for your search, subsequent letter, and helpful information. I appreciate it very much.

May I inquire about methodology? How was the search conducted?

In particular, I wished to clarify whether the search encompassed my previous addresses. I recently re-located to New York State. Previously, I lived for a many years in California and Minnesota.

Is there anyway I can verify that the search included:

Travis Wilkerson
855 East Kensington Road
Los Angeles, CA 90026

Travis Wilkerson
4112 Griffin Avenue
Los Angeles, CA 90031

and Travis Wilkerson
2517 Humboldt Ave S,
Minneapolis, MN

Thanks very much!

Travis

A no responsive documents response.

From: Travis Wilkerson

Greetings. I'm writing to follow up to my previous communications. I am requesting the following two clarifications to my request:

In addition to the records requested above, I also request records describing the processing of this request, including records sufficient to identify search terms used and locations and custodians searched and any tracking sheets used to track the processing of this request. If you use questionnaires or certifications completed by individual custodians or components to determine whether they possess responsive materials or to describe how they conducted searches, I also request any such records prepared in connection with the processing of this request.

If it is your position that any portion of the requested records is exempt from disclosure, I request that you provide an index of those documents. In the event some portions of the requested records are properly exempt from disclosure, please disclose any reasonably segregable non-exempt portions of the requested records. If it is your position that a record contains non-exempt segments, but that those non-exempt segments are so dispersed throughout the document as to make segregation impossible, please state what portion of the document is non-exempt, and how the material is dispersed throughout the document.

Sincere thanks!

Travis Wilkerson
