I request all records, including any subpoenas and electronic orders of preservation received by this office from the Drug Enforcement Agency (“DEA”) received between 2008 and 2013, (the past 5 years) that mention the Tor Project, or one of the following individuals involved with the Tor Project, including Andrew Lewman, Roger Dingledine, Nick Mathewson, and Jacob Appelbaum (who also may be known as “Jacob Appplebaum” or “Jake Appelbaum/Applebaum.” ) If you find responsive but non-releasable information, please cite the exemptions and amount and type of exempted materials.

After reviewing your request, we noted several questions that we need to resolve prior to opening a request and forwarding you an acknowledgement letter. For example, you indicated that you wish to receive "all records... received by this office from the DEA..." The terminology you used does not purport to a reasonable description of a DEA system of records. Therefore, please clarify the subject of your request specifically indicating whether or not DEA was in receipt of any electronic orders, or if DEA initiated the preservation electronic orders of preservation. Also, please explain the relevancy of the website links you provided.
