Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Pertaining to the missing persons investigation of one Thomas R. Richards (aka Thomas R. Baghdadlian) of 90 Regatta Road Weymouth, who was last seen by family in November of 1967 and last seen by the public between Christmas and New Years 1967 at a Dedham Motel. The case has remained unsolved, despite Mr. Richards being allegedly declared “dead” around June of 1982 with inconclusive evidence.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Good afternoon,

Mr. Richards was last seen in Massachusetts between November 1967 (leaving Weymouth) and December 1967 (at a motel in Dedham). I have attached several documents pursuant to the missing person.

Boston Herald Newspaper Clipping Dated: June 30th, 1982 - detailing the trail wherein Richards was declared dead.

Another dated June 30th, 1982 - detailing the trail to get Richards' to be declared dead.

Section 344 of the Postal Inspectors "In-House Memo" detailing further information of the circumstances of Richards' disappearance. (Obtained from the United States Postal Inspection service, via FIOA request.
