To Whom It May Concern:

All materials prepared by the DIA that was presented to senators in regards to attacking Syria.
(See https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/17/politics/us-syria-briefing-trump/index.html)

Request for expedited processing:
The records are of interest to the American public. This will show and inform the public about what the policy is and what will happen. Based on your knowledge, be advised that it is urgent to tell the public. It will be published on Muckrock and I request it also be published in the FOIA library

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

I hereby appeal the decision in regards to expedited processing.
Expedited Processing:
1. The value of the information would be lost if not quickly processed. This would be since the public wouldn’t be informed in regards to attacking Syria. They will provide for a greater understanding. This is since right now the public is held in a limbo not knowing what will happen next. By providing the information requested the public will be able to digest what is going on. This way attacking Syria will happen with the “consent of the governed”. They will also prove or deny recent comments made by the White House as well. This information will provide a greater depth to the actions that the country would like to take.
2. The “breaking news” will end if this request is not processed quickly. This would be since no one would know what is to happen next. By providing the records in a faster manner the public will be more engaged in what is happening. This would be since the information and assessments would be distributed across the board. This information not only affects the US but also the world. This way countries will be able to act diplomatically instead of chaos. Also, it could deliver details that other countries may not know. By providing the records rapidly there won’t be no surprises to the world.
I certify that my statements concerning the need for expedited processing are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief.
