This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Copies of all records since Jan. 1, 2014 -- within the "Department of Homeland Security General Training Records" system -- documenting individuals or organizations that applied to participate in Federal Law Enforcement Training Center programs but were rejected.
The existence of such records is explicitly referenced in the Federal Register. The Federal Register entry refers to denied applications as a specific category of records.

I also request that all fees be waived, as I am a journalist -- employed by MuckRock and the Boston Globe -- and I intend to use any pertinent information I receive as a result of this request to educate the public and not for commercial benefit.
I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
