Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
All emails sent to, from, or copied to: Sigal Mandelker, from January 1, 2006 to January 1, 2010, containing the following non-case-sensitive key-string: "Epstein". After conducting a search to determine how many email records exist, if these records are too cumbersome to go through, please let me know the total number of records for the time period requested and I may desire to modify my request to limit the keywords or timeframe.
You may exclude emails that may be classified as newsletters, junk, or spam.
Please include any attachments to the emails as well.
If any part of these documents are exempt from disclosure, please be sure to review and release all reasonably segregable nonexempt portions of responsive documents, as the FOIA requires.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

To whom this may concern,
I am writing in regards to my FOIA request CRM-301705578, sent March 15, 2022, concerning concerning emails sent to, from, or copied to former Criminal Division Deputy Assistant Attorney General Sigal Mandelker, from January 1, 2006, to January 1, 2010, containing the term “Epstein.”
According to the FOIA/PA unit's response email, sent April 11, 2022, "Criminal Division personnel searched the section most likely to maintain records and no responsive records subject to the FOIA were located. Email archives are not available for the identified time period."
I would like to appeal this determination on grounds that the search was insufficient. I am looking forwards to hearing your response at your earliest convenience.
