This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

Date range of request: January 1, 2009 to April 1, 2015

I am seeking documents or records containing the phrases or keywords “Barrett Brown”, an individual born 8/14/1981 from Dallas, Texas, and “Project PM” a research project created by that same person, with an associated website at “echelon2.org”.

Please search the FBI’s indices to the Central Records System for the information responsive to this request related to: Barrett Brown, Project PM

This request is not meant to be exclusive of any other records which, though not specifically requested, would have a reasonable relationship to the subject matter of this request.

If my request is denied in whole or part, I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the act. I will also expect to be provided with all segregable portions of otherwise exempt material. Please separately state your reasons for not invoking your discretionary powers to release the requested documents in the public interest.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, and is not being made for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

This new search should include, but not be limited to, text searches of the ECF (Electronic Case File).

This new search should also include, but not be limited to searches of/for: main file records, cross-reference records, ELSUR (electronic surveillance) records, laboratory records, FOI/PA records, 190 Files, 197 Files, and (-0, -2, -5) Control Files, the FBI’s administrative records system, confidential indices and filing systems, the Investigative Data Warehouse, seized asset information, and the FBI’s “Bureau Mailing Lists” records system.
