To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

1. All logs, notes, memos, and messages compiled by the Milwaukee, Wisconsin FBI field office between 12:00 a.m. August 2, 2012 and 11:59 p.m August 8, 2012 that include any of the following terms: “terrorist,” “Muslim,” "Islam," or “suspicious.”     

2. All logs, notes, memos, and messages compiled by the Kansas City, Missouri FBI field office between 12:00 a.m. April 10, 2012 and 11:59 p.m April 16, 2012 that include any of the following terms: “terrorist,” “Muslim,” "Islam," or “suspicious.”   

3. All logs, notes, memos, and messages compiled by the Las Vegas, Nevada FBI field office between 12:00 a.m. June 5, 2012 and 11:59 p.m June 11, 2012 that include any of the following terms: “terrorist,” “Muslim,” "Islam," or “suspicious.”   

4. All logs, notes, memos, and messages compiled by the Columbia, South Carolina FBI field office between 12:00 a.m. June 14, 2012 and 11:59 p.m June 20, 2012 that include any of the following terms: “terrorist,” “Muslim,” "Islam," or “suspicious.”   

5. All logs, notes, memos, and messages compiled by the Denver, Colorado FBI field office between 12:00 a.m. November 22, 2015 and 11:59 p.m November 29, 2015  that include any of the following terms: “terrorist,” “Muslim,” "Islam," or “suspicious.”   

6. All logs, notes, memos, and messages compiled by the New York City FBI field office between 12:00 a.m. March 17, 2017 and 11:59 p.m March 23, 2017 that include any of the following terms: “terrorist,” “Muslim,” "Islam," or “suspicious.”   

7. All logs, notes, memos, and messages compiled by the Portland, Oregon FBI field office between 12:00 a.m. May 23, 2017 and 11:59 p.m May 29, 2017 that include any of the following terms: “terrorist,” “Muslim,” "Islam," or “suspicious.”   

8. All logs, notes, memos, and messages compiled by the Richmond, Virginia FBI field office between 12:00 a.m. August 9, 2017 and 11:59 p.m August 15, 2017 that include any of the following terms: “terrorist,” “Muslim,” "Islam," or “suspicious.”   

9. All logs, notes, memos, and messages compiled by the Louisville, Kentucky FBI field office between 12:00 a.m. October 21, 2018 and 11:59 p.m October 27, 2018 that include any of the following terms: “terrorist,” “Muslim,” "Islam," or “suspicious.”      

10. All logs, notes, memos, and messages compiled by the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania FBI field office between 12:00 a.m. October 24, 2018 and 11:59 p.m October 30, 2018 that include any of the following terms: “terrorist,” “Muslim,” "Islam," or “suspicious.”   

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
