Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Any and all reports about, and investigative materials pertaining to, the crash of a small plane on December 24, 2011 near Vinton County Airport in New Plymouth, Ohio that killed three people: Kevin Byers, Eudora Byers, and Siobhan Reynolds. According to a news report, the plane was a Beech model 19A. The pilot of the plane was Kevin Byers.

According to news reports from that time (The Courier, "Plane crash that killed three under investigation" from December 28, 2011; https://www.vintonjacksoncourier.com/news/plane-crash-that-killed-three-under-investigation/article_f6bd1452-30d1-11e1-a2d3-0019bb2963f4.html), both the FAA and NTSB were active in this investigation at different times.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I am processing your FOIA request concerning a fatal aircraft accident in Ohio in 2011 involving N33SR and we have located materials (crash report/witness statements, vehicle inventory/custody report) from the Ohio Highway State Patrol that we cannot release on our end.
