Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
A copy of records documenting the number of employees of the National Institute For Occupational Safety And Health, Center For Disease Control And Prevention, who were terminated/retired, or left NIOSH for any reason, for the years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, as well as a copy of records documenting the number of new employees hired to work for the National Institute For Occupational Safety And Health, Center For Disease Control And Prevention, in the years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018.
I am a career journalist with work that has appeared at The Daily Beast among other publications. I am willing to pay any reasonable expenses associated with this request, however, as the purpose of the requested disclosure is in full conformity with the statutory requirements for a waiver of fees, I formally request such a waiver.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
