To Whom It May Concern:
This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
All files, evidentiary materials, reports, memos, directives, and any other materials regarding Ramiro Pena Jr. (and any known aliases he may have), who was recently sentenced to prison for "his role in a conspiracy to commit bribery in connection with supply contracts while serving in Afghanistan."
Please include all available datasets and spreadsheets, including but not limited to those detailing which contractors/vendors were hired during Pena's term of employment, alleged and proven bribes accepted from individuals and vendors, and any other available collections.
According to a press release, Pena, along with his supervisor, Army Master Sergeant Jimmy W. Dennis, awarded "approximately 217 such contracts." Please include any more exact estimates and associated information. Please include in all instances as much segregable data as possible.
Please also include all available files, reports, evaluations, and related materials regarding Army Master Sergeant Jimmy W. Dennis.
Should any clarification be needed, a phone call may easily be arranged. Please proceed with processing this request within your office, though any direction to other offices possessing responsive material would be greatly appreciated. A version of this request has been sent to the following agencies: Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction; Federal Bureau of Investigation; U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command; Department of Defense, Office of the Inspector General; Air Force Office of Special Investigations.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
