Hope all is well. This is in response to your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA).

Please be advised before we can conduct a search of our system, any request for records and/or information of another person is protected by the Privacy Act, which would prohibit CSOSA from releasing any information without a proper authorization/consent release signed by John T. Edge, Sr.

Upon receipt of your FOIA letter and the signed consent release, we will enter your request for processing. Also, when submitting a new FOIA request, please provide the location in which John Thomas Edge, Sr. was employed, i.e., CSOSA or Pretrial Services Agency (PSA). Thank you for your email. Please see the answers to your questions below in blue.

John Thomas Edge, Sr. died last August. I've attached a screenshot of his obituary (also found at https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/name/john-edge-obituary?id=36380275). Is any additional documentation required?

* Because Mr. Edge was not an employee of CSOSA or PSA, there is no further information required. We are not the correct agency for the information that you are requesting.
2. He was employed as a federal probation/pretrial officer for the Middle District of Georgia U.S. District Court. Would that mean that he was employed by the US District Court rather than CSOSA or PSA?

* Based on the information that you provided, it appears Mr. Edge worked for the U.S. Probation Office for the Middle District of Georgia under the United States Courts United States Courts | (uscourts.gov)<https://www.uscourts.gov/> and was not an employee of CSOSA or PSA.
