This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

Summaries, reports, forensic analysis, findings of fact, and other material related to the murder of Luqman Ameen Abullah, imam of the Masjid Al-Haqq mosque in Detroit, during activities by the Joint Terrorism Task Force and under authority of prosecutors from the National Security Unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office on October 28th. 2009.

Public statements by Special Agent Sandra Berchtold, a spokeswoman for the FBI in Detroit at the time of the activities, include mention of more than three people arrested on charges including conspiracy to commit federal crimes, receipt of stolen goods, providing firearms to felons and changing vehicle identification numbers.

Of special interest are the timeline of events leading up to the release of K-9 Unit against the murdered individual, 62 seconds after diversionary explosive charges were detonated around the victim and accomplices.

Forensic ballistic analysis of the rounds fired in that exchange intended for Luqman Ameen Abullah or incident to the K-9 unit killed, are also requested.
