To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
1) An itemized inventory of all equipment transferred, sold, or otherwise distributed to local and state agencies as part of the Department of Justice's Operation Legend program (https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/operation-legend-update-federal-charges)
2) Copies of all applications submitted by state or local agencies to participate in the Operation Legend program.
3) Copies of all contracts, memorandums of understanding, or comparable documents entered into with agencies participating in the Operation Legend program.
I ask that I be classified as a media requestor, as I am a journalist and I intend to use the requested records to publish articles in the public interest. Examples of my journalistic work can be found at toddfeathers.com.
I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
