Dear Mr. Collier,

This responds to your recent request for a status update for case 81554. Your case is in one of our initial processing queues pending assignment to a Case Office for further evaluation and/or document search if applicable. This means we still need to search for documents, after it's assigned to a Case Officer. Due to the significant increase in FOIA requests, it is difficult estimate the completion date at this time. However, we can estimate that your case may be assigned to a Case Officer within the next 18-24 months. Estimating an actual completion date for your case is also difficult, as it is entirely dependent on whether or not document are located, how many documents are found, and the complexity of any document located. The approximate completion date for those cases in the median range is 3-4 years. Please be advised that this estimate is subject to change.

We appreciate your patience thus far.
Regards,
Cindy

Yes, we filed this request in June 2015. And we've mailed your office about 20 times asking for an update. May I have an estimated date of completion for this request? I believe you're required to give us one if asked under the CFA.

Mr. Collier:

This further responds to your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request of 17 June 2015, for "copies of the exclusive Patent License Agreement (PLA) and short-term consulting Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA), signed between NSA and Fixmo in June 2010."

Please be advised that the PLA and CRADA sought was sent to the respective company, to allow them the opportunity to recommend and justify any withholding under FOIA exemption 5 U.S.C. 552 (b)(4). After receipt of their response, a final assessment of all responsive material will be completed prior to finalization of your request.

Thank you,

FOIA Customer Representative

Good Morning Mr. Collier:

Your case is still in one of processing queues, pending assignment to a first level review. Each case must go through two levels of review before a release determination can be made. It's likely that your case may not be assigned to a first level review within the next 6 months. At this time, the estimated completion date is approximately 1 year. Please be advised that we will not provide a response to any future status checks from you, unless there has been a change to the status of your request.

Thank you,
