This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

I am requesting all written correspondence—including emails, text messages, and email attachments--between any of the following ATF executives and any staff member of the National Rifle Association: Thomas Brandon, Ronald Turk, Joe Alen, Michael Gleysteen, Marvin Richardson, Charles Gross, Andrew Graham, Carlos Canino, Curtis Gilbert, Megan Bennett, Joel Roessner, Victoria Gold, Gregory Czarnopys, Thomas Chittum, Eric Epstein. I am also requesting any written correspondence between any of the aforementioned ATF executives and any staff member of the ATF concerning the National Rifle Association. The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

This request was made over a year ago, and it has still not been fulfilled. Meanwhile, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence has successfully sued for the release of the same records: http://www.cnn.com/2018/02/13/us/gun-industry-atf-deregulation-white-paper-brady-center-documents-invs/index.html. I am now entitled to those records too, and because my request is now in the news, every aspect of it should be fulfilled as soon as possible. If this request is not resolved in the near future, I will litigate.

Please call me with any questions: 973 809 0419.
