Good Afternoon,

I am in the process of preparing your response to your FOIA request seeking the musical computations for "Sempra Supra". The Department of the Air Force (DAF) AF requires a requester for DAF copyrighted material to obtain a permissible copyright for free otherwise, at http://www.music.af.mil/Space-Force-Song.

Can you obtain that permissible copyright and provide it to me in advance of my release of the document?
Thanks,
Ann Marie

Thank you for this response.

To be clear, I am not requested a commercialized reproduction of sheet music produced after the initial development of the song. In my request, I wrote:

"I am asking for the release any musical notation sheets or other instructions created by the authors of the piece or used by the musicians who recorded it."

My goal is to acquire copies of those **original** government records, created directly by the authors and paid for with taxpayer dollars, which I believe are not subject to copyright law and can be released under FOIA for no charge.

Thank you for this release. Several of the emails, including one from Oct. 1 with the subject line "RE: USSF Song - L2 Council," reference focus group results about the song. Can those documents be released as well?
