Any and all emails, memos, letters and/or reports sent or received by Assistant Secretary Michael Platt, Jr. that contains one or more of the following words or phrases: "Tahoe", "Escobal", "Guatemala", "Amodei", "Minera San Rafael", "Todd Robinson", "Morales", and/or "Ron Clayton". The search should include emails from eop.gov. This request's timeframe is from August 1, 2017 through the date this request is processed.
I am a reporter for The Nation, and the requested documents will be made available to the general public. This request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

We are in the process of reviewing the documents for disclosure determinations. We are experiencing a significant increase in FOIA requests which in turn led to us experiencing a significant back log in our FOIA request responses.
