Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Records pertaining to the Mercury, NV, Post Office, located at 525 Buster Street, Mercury, NV, 89023. This Post Office has a Facilities Database (FDB) ID of 1372743. Please search for the following:

a) Any records pertaining to said Post Office facility (including access procedures, inspections, or maintenance).

b) Any internal manuals, publications, memoranda, or communications pertaining to said Post Office.

c) A listing of employees working at said Post Office, in accordance with 39 CFR 265.14(e)(1).

Please note: The use of the word "communications" in part (b) shall include a search for emails (per AS-353 4-4.18) for the time period of the last 10 years that contain at least one of the following keywords: "525 Buster", "Mercury, Nevada", "Mercury, NV", "89023", ("Mercury" AND "Nevada"), ("Mercury" AND "NV"), ("Mercury" AND "NNSS"), ("Mercury" AND "NTS"), ("Mercury" AND "DOE").

To clarify (a) and (b), I am only seeking records responsive to those queries that are specific to the Mercury, Nevada Post Office.

For example, in (a), I am not seeking documents detailing national policies and procedures effective generally at all USPS Post Offices. I am only seeking records and documents which detail policies and procedures, if they exist, which are unique to and only in place at the Mercury, Nevada Post Office facility.

Additionally, in (b), I am seeking documents in which the subject or substantial focus of the responsive record is the Mercury, Nevada Post Office. I realize that "pertaining" could be construed as meaning "mentioning", but in order to narrow the scope of (b), I am not seeking documents which only briefly mention the Mercury, Nevada Post Office (for example, a single line in a table in a report with a regional or national scope).

(a) Records related to current access procedures of said Post Office facility, and other policies and procedures currently effective at this Post Office. I am not seeking documents detailing national policies and procedures effective generally at all USPS Post Offices. I am seeking records and documents which detail current policies and procedures, if they exist, which are unique to and only in place at the Mercury, Nevada Post Office facility. For your information, "access procedures" is commonly understood to mean the set of procedures/rules that govern how authorized individuals are granted entry and allowed to access a specific resource or area. These procedures may include measures such as identity verification, authentication, and authorization protocols to ensure that only authorized personnel can gain access.

(b) Publications, memoranda, or reports pertaining to said Post Office. I am seeking documents in which the subject or substantial focus of the responsive record is the Mercury, Nevada Post Office. I am not seeking documents which only briefly mention the Mercury, Nevada Post Office (for example, a single line in a table in a report with a regional or national scope).

You may limit the date range for the record search for items (a) and (b) to 2010-present.

It is my understanding that records responsive to my request are likely to be in the custody of the Western-Pacific area office, NV-UT District. You stated that "the Postal Service has approximately 30,000 facilities at which records are maintained. The various records at these facilities
are not centrally indexed." In lieu of an exhaustive search, you may limit your search for responsive records to the Western-Pacific area office and/or NV-UT District. Please also conduct a search of eAccess/ARIS and other electronic databases.
