Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Responsive records to:

1. A list of books acquired by the U.S. Library of Congress on February 5th, 2023, which have publication dates after the year 2019.

2. Library of Congress expenses report for the year 2021.

3. Book donations to the Library of Congress in the year 2021.

5. Objects found within book donations in the year 2022.

6. Monetary gifts (donations) made to the Library of Congress Literacy and Reading Programs in the year 2021.

7. Books in the rare book collection that were captured with multispectral imaging and processed with principal component analysis (PCA) in the year 2021.

8. Statistics regarding the difference between how many books were physically added to the Library of Congress and how many books were catalogued by the Library of Congress in the year 2021.

9. A list of travel and food expenses paid for by the James Madison Council of the Library of Congress in the year 2021.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com.
