All communications between Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division Leslie R. Caldwell, her office, and any of its representatives and the Financial Services Committee of the The United States House of Representatives and any of its staff containing the words "HSBC" or "Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation" or "Hong kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation" from May 15, 2014 up to the receipt of this request.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

This responds to your status inquiry dated April 2, 2018 concerning your pending Freedom of Information Act request received on July 14, 2016 for records concerning certain communications of Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer, Leslie Caldwell, and Mythili Raman related to HSBC.
Please be advised that your request is being processed on the complex track. On average, it takes the FOIA/PA Unit 203 days to process a complex request. Please note that
203 working days is the average, with fifty percent of cases being completed sooner, and the other fifty percent of cases requiring additional time. At this time, your request has been
